Okay here is a mod I've done to help reserve your energy on a cold winter day, to me the Taureau is a little hard to dump especially when compared to a Spanish Fly, so I installed drain plugs to help you after a swim, OR after a big water run down a rapid and you have a boat load of water. Drain Plugs on both ends of the boat BRILLANT!

Even harder for me is to get a unoccupied Taureau to the bank, and the boat sets higher up than most boats and the grab loop can be hard to grab.

So I installed "Grab/Pull Loops"

Electric-Battery operated pimp...oooops I meant pump...man that would be handy huh..."YO $%^&&** get my water outta dis boat."..

okay let's move along...before you and I get a nasty gram from the joke police...

Here is some shock cord installed, so you can keep your drain plug...

Okay here is the next mod, I think the Taureau needs some painter lines to help swing the boat to the bank , or to help to tow it across the creek. Or even help you grab your boat in a mishap. Or the best thing about it... to tie to a tree during lunch break on a crowded bank...

The knotted rope is by the knee boots to help you pull the rope back in. A knot is tied in the middle  of the rope to stop the rope to a reasonable pull distance. The factory mini-cell prevents a foot entrapment inside the boat.

Here is a closer shot....Also note the "knee boot" mod...helps skinny chicken legs...

Here is close up of the boat with the "pull grab loop" and where I drilled  into the boat.

This picture is not to scale (the boat isn't that small) The rope is about 5 ft long.

Both ends of the boat have "pull grab loops"....when done...just pull the rope back inside the boat...and paddle down the creek.

Safety note...ALWAYS CARRY A RIVER KNIFE...the rope is safely tucked away behind the factory mini-cell walls...this I'm sure of...a foot entrapment sucks though...but Murphy's Law is a b#tch SO CARRY A KNIFE, no one wants to be the 6-o clock news...

LEGAL NOTE:

...if you do this mod YOU WILL DIE...no if and or buts...nice knowing ya...sign your will...doing this is you are way beyond stupid...I can't believe you even are reading this...I'm a kayaker for cryin' out loud...what where you thinking for ever attempting this...RUN AWAY NOW...close this window...and clear your mind!
